Gamarada Redfern Montessori Learning Centre offers a Montessori playgroup and a Montessori Early Childhood programme for children aged from birth to six years of age.
Programmes operate from premises located at Bourke Street Public School.

Barbara Stephen, Director of the Gamarada Redfern Montessori Learning Centre, holds a Bachelor of Education in both Primary and Early Childhood, a Graduate Diploma in Special Education and an Association Montessori Internationale diploma to teach 3-6 year olds. She has worked in Montessori schools in Melbourne, Canberra and now Sydney. She devotes her life to promoting the wellbeing of children across all cultures and is dedicated to quality education to enhance the human potential. In 2003, Barbara was awarded “Citizen of the Year” by South Sydney Council for her tireless contribution not only to local early childhood education but also to the community at large. |
